Breach Notification Process
In the event of a data breach involving personal data, we follow this process:
- Detection & Containment — Identify the breach scope and immediately contain the incident. Isolate affected systems and preserve forensic evidence.
- Assessment & Classification — Assess risk to data subjects. Classify severity based on data type, volume, and potential harm. Determine if notification is required.
- Notification — Notify affected data subjects and the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) within 72 hours. Provide breach details, data involved, and remediation steps.
- Remediation & Review — Implement corrective measures, patch vulnerabilities, and conduct a post-incident review. Update incident response playbook.
